I'm hearing a banging/clunking noise when making right or left turns. Is this normal?

The ProPride 3P is a quiet system. You should not have much if any noise coming from the 3P components. Next time you unhook, check to see how much play there is in your hitch bar receiver on the tow vehicle. This can sometimes be the cause of the clunk you are referring to when turning.
