The ProPride 3P Trailer Sway Control Hitch has a weight of 195 pounds, which adds to the load at the front of the trailer. Due to the unique design, the hitch is set further back from the receiver on the towing vehicle, resulting in an additional 50-60 pounds of tongue weight. The 3P system locks the trailers coupler to it which prevents the trailer from rotating on the ball, directing any movement through the ProPride system. This prevents the trailer from acting like a lever on the rear of the tow vehicle, enhancing stability. This system is particularly favored by Toy Hauler owners.
