I'm hearing a clunking noise when making right or left turns from a complete stop.
All works well when I drive straight forward after a complete stop or if I turn left or right and am moving forward at the time (when I don't come to a complete stop at the intersection and am rolling forward even only slightly).
The clunk is noticeable, and it happens when turning left or right after a complete stop.
The stinger is mounted securely into the main propride hitch assembly and the hitch bar is mounted securely to the receiver on the car.
The problem may be with the main hitch assembly on the trailer?
I purchased and installed the propride hitch a
few years ago, but it is only now that we are using the trailer for the first time - so the propride hitch is brand new from a use perspective
How can this be fixed?.........as it does not sound right.
is this damaging my hitch if I am using it in the meantime.
Thanks!
